Abstract :This study investigates the mediating role of green manufacturing in the relationship between digital transformation and environmental performance in manufacturing firms. Data were collected through a survey and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to assess the direct effects of digital transformation and green manufacturing on environmental performance. The findings show that both digital transformation and green manufacturing have a significant positive impact on environmental performance. Moreover, digital transformation was found to significantly affect green manufacturing. In addition to SEM analysis, the Process Macro mediation test was used to assess the mediation effect of green manufacturing. The results reveal that green manufacturing plays an important mediating role and enhances the positive impact of digital transformation on environmental performance. This highlights the importance of integrating digital strategies with environmentally responsible production methods to improve sustainability outcomes. Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of research on sustainable manufacturing by demonstrating the important link between digital transformation, green manufacturing and environmental performance.
