Abstract :This article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of archival document restoration and conservation processes. The preservation of historical documents and the protection of their physical condition are among the main directions of archival management. The study analyzes the causes of document damage, restoration methods, and the role of modern technologies. The effectiveness of conservation and restoration methods, as well as their application in the long-term perspective, are discussed. The findings provide theoretical and practical recommendations for the application of new approaches in the preservation of archival documents.
