Abstract :The Cimmerians and the Scythians, regarded as among the pioneers of early Turkic history, are known for their nomadic lifestyle and mobility across the Eurasian steppes. Initially inhabiting the northern Black Sea steppes, the Cimmerians migrated both westward and eastward under pressure from the Scythians. A segment of this migrating population settled in Central Anatolia, where they established a political structure and formed both political and cultural relations with indigenous Anatolian states. These interactions are evident in archaeological remains and Assyrian cuneiform texts, providing valuable insight into the Cimmerians\\\' presence in the region. According to these sources, the Cimmerians founded a local dynasty in Anatolia, with Dugdamme emerging as one of its most influential rulers. This study aims to explore Dugdamme’s activities and highlight his significance within the broader scope of Cimmerian history and Proto-Turkic heritage.
