Abstract :Each historical period is defined by its distinctive scientific achievements and developmental features. Science, as a systematic body of knowledge about the lawful evolution of nature and society, constitutes a fundamental dimension of spiritual, cultural, and civilizational progress. Scientific revolutions reshape not only paradigms of knowledge but also social consciousness. The application of scientific discoveries to social reality transforms social relations, value systems, and contributes to the formation of new societal structures. In the contemporary era, the Digital Society—emerging from rapid scientific and technological advancement—represents a new socio-cultural format that enhances humanity’s capacity for self-regulation and influences key spheres such as governance, transformation processes, communication, and technology. This transformation extends to the redefinition of social institutions, individuality, and behavioral patterns. Therefore, examining the essence and developmental trajectories of science has become essential. This article provides a comparative analysis of Azerbaijani science within the modern paradigm of digital development, highlighting its emerging trends, structural transformations, and integration into global scientific processes.
