Abstract :This article explores the role of reduplication in enriching the Persian lexicon through morphological, semantic, syntactic, and stylistic dimensions. Based on data from colloquial speech, literature, folklore, and children’s texts, it demonstrates that reduplication is a productive mechanism of word-formation and expressive meaning. Three main morphological types are identified: full reduplication, medial augmentation (e.g., be-, dar-, tu-), and final suffixed forms (e.g., -an, -ak, -ki). These forms often result in category shifts and new lexical units. Semantically, reduplication conveys intensity, iteration, continuity, and emotive nuance. Syntactically, it produces adverbial and verbal expressions that highlight manner and dynamism. Stylistically, it enhances rhythm, memorability, and phonosemantic resonance, acting as a cultural code. The study concludes that reduplication in Persian is not only a grammatical pattern but also a lexical and poetic strategy, revealing the language’s creative and folk-rooted expressive potential. Keywords : Farsça, ikileme, biçimbilim, anlambilim, ses-anlam ilişkisi, biçembilim, sözcük türetimi.
