Abstract :This article examines the interaction between the construction industry and economic development in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with a particular focus on gross domestic product (GDP) growth. The construction sector functions as one of the strategic pillars of the national economy, and its development exerts a significant influence on the country’s overall economic performance. Using statistical data, the study evaluates the impact of changes in construction activity on GDP growth and derives scientific conclusions based on the empirical results. In addition, the article discusses the interrelationship between the development of the construction industry and other economic sectors, the role of state policy, and the importance of strategic measures. Overall, the continued development of the construction industry provides a foundation for sustainable and balanced economic growth in Azerbaijan and serves as a decisive factor in supporting GDP growth.
