Abstract :Vertebrobaziler arteriyel sistem medulla, serebellum, pons, beynin orta kısmı ve oksipital korteksi perfüze eder. Bu sistemdeki büyük damarların oklüzyonu sıklıkla kalıcı motor defisit ve ölüme neden olur. Vertebrobasiler inmelerin mortalitesi 85%‘in üzerindedir. Beyin orta kısmı ve serebellum tutulumu nedeni ile birçok hasta multisistemik disfonksiyon yaşar (hemipleji, ataksi, disfaji, dizartri, bakış anomalileri, kraniyel nöropatiler gibi). Vertebral arter fuziform anevrizması nedenli akut pons enfarktı nadir görülmektedir. Bu yazıda sol vertebral arter anevrizmasının kitle etkisi nedeniyle akut pons enfarktı saptanan hasta bildirildi
