Abstract :Metoklopramid, hiperemezis gravidarumda sık kullanılan dopamin reseptör antagonisti olan anti-emetik bir ilaçtır. Akut distoni, metoklopramid tedavisinin 1-3. günlerinde, özellikle çocuklarda ve genç erişkinlerde ortaya çıkan nadir bir yan etkidir. Bu makalede hiperemezis gravidarum nedeniyle metoklopramid kullanan ve buna bağlı distoni gelişen bir olgu sunulmuş olup hiperemezis gravidarum olgularında distoni gelişmesi durumunda bu tablonun metoklopramidin yan etkisi olabileceği hatırlanmalıdır
