Abstract :Kasık fıtığı içerisinde appendiks vermiformisin bulunması “Amyand hernisi” olarak tanımlanmaktadır. İnsidansı %1 düzeylerin de olup, preoperatif tanısını koymak oldukça zordur. İlk defa 1735 yılında Clauidius Amyand tarafından tanımlanmıştır. Genelde tanısı cerrahi işlem sırasında konulabilmektedir ve peroperatif tanı konulduğu zaman herniyotomiden apendektomi yapılması tercih edilen yöntemdir. Biz bu vakamızda sağ nüks inguinal herni kesesinde inkarsere plastrone apandisit olgusunu sunuyoruz
