Abstract :Environment, became a new field of research for sociology, like other disciplines, after 1970s. Being divided into various subtitles and not being able to decide its own research object within universal dimensions, sociology is seen as a branch of science that excluded ecological transformations. Ecosociology is located into an interdisciplinary position and gives priority to normative analysis instead of positivist analysis. With Ecosociology, cosmic view, ecological synthesis, systematic ecological organization that combines theory and practice, objective and uniting objective and subjective universe and ecological modernization, became current issues in the era of science. Besides being a subdiscipline, Ecosociology, can be a name of social movement and radical transformation.
