Abstract : Many structures established such as embankment, the regulator, dams and hydroelectricpower plants in order to supply the increasing demands on aquatic systems nowadays. These structures especially affect the natural migration of aquatic organism to upstream and downstream adversely and constitutes a danger for many organism. Hydraulic structures should be established on or around the natural or man-made barriers such as regulators,dams,hydroelectric power plants on the aquatic systems that will help natural migrations of diadrom fish. The purpose of this review that give general information about what these hydraulic structures called fish passages review prior studies on this subject and emphasize the importance of them.
