Abstract :The aim of this study is to examine the effects of mentorship practices on athlete performance and the perception of mentorship in the sports public sphere. Utilizing a qualitative research method, specifically a descriptive survey model, this study systematically reviewed scientific literature published after 2010 and evaluated it through content analysis. The findings indicate that mentorship significantly enhances athletes\\\' physical performance, improves their technical skills, and strengthens their psychological resilience. Mentorship is increasingly recognized as a critical factor in athletes\\\' career development and is gaining importance in the sports public sphere. Case studies demonstrate how high-performance athletes overcome challenges and achieve gains through mentorship support. The research concludes that mentorship positively impacts athletes\\\' performance and psychological resilience, and it is becoming more widely acknowledged in the sports public sphere.
