Abstract :You are welcome to the ceremony arranged to celebrate the thirty-first anniversary of the foundation of our Institute and also to pay tribute to those members who have completed thirty and twenty-five years of service in the Institute, without interruption. The Institute, which has helped a great deal toward the improvement of the economy and industrialization of our country since its foundation, continued its activities in 1965 within the framework of 29 projects and, as a result of investigations and explorations carried out for various minerals, industrial raw materials and power resources, discovered lignite, asphaltite, alunite, bauxite, phosphate, salt, fluorite, lead and meerschaum, worth 6 billion Turkish liras.
