Abstract :This study examines the digital game interactions of young people who go to internet cafes in the Aksaray province of Turkey. In the study, the in-depth interview method was used in internet cafes to collect the data. The use of digital games by young people in internet cafés was examined as a form of subculture. The results show that young people stated that they often went to these places to spend their free time and that they are exposed to digital violence. Participants also stated that they were not satisfied with this situation. However, the findings also indicate that young people who play in internet cafes enjoy some of the violence in the games they play and also that the use of slang and abusive communication sometimes helps them to have a good time.
