Abstract :Homelessness is an important social problem that should not be ignored for all societies around the world and can be defined as the inability of individuals to find a permanent residence for reasons such as family, economic or mental health. Especially the lack of literature on subcategories such as child, youth, women and elderly homelessness reveals the need for more comprehensive research in these areas. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on homeless children from different perspectives such as year, field, country, university and keyword. Using the bibliometric analysis method, a total of 452 studies, which were added to the literature from 2000 to 26 July 2024, were analyzed with the VOSviewer program as a result of the search with the keyword ‘homeless children’ in the Web of Science database. The studies were evaluated from the perspective of year, field, country, university, keyword, co-author, citation links of authors, bibliometric analysis of texts and co-citation analysis of authors. This study aims to contribute to the identification of trends and research gaps in the literature by revealing the current state of research on homeless children.
