Abstract :Hizmet kelimesi Arapça asıllı bir kelime olup doğrusu `hıdmet` tir. Türkçemize `hizmet` şeklinde geçmiştir. Bazen asli şekliyle de kullanılmaktadır. Nitekim kurumlarda en alt statüde çalışan beden işçilerine `hizmetli` denildiği gibi `hademe` de denilmektedir.
