Abstract :Turkish directorate of Religious affairs passesses characteristics and structural features that are exclusive to Turkey. In this article. the regulations. activities and status of Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs will be studied in special reference to the Ottoman and Turkish Republican experience. In addition, the state-religion relationship under the seeular laws and their problems will be investigated.
