Abstract :In the course of İslâmic civizilation’s formation many theorotical works on music were written and some technical subjects like notes, musical scalas, modes, quartets and different intervals were started to be examined carefully. Music was considered as a science of mathematics in these works. The first works reached to us are al-Kindi’s musical treatises. It is essential to know the technical terms used in treatises in order to understand their subjects. For this reason, in this article, we have tried to translate these technical terms into Turkish.
