Abstract :ÖZET On sekizinci yüzyılda Osmanlı Devleti’nde Türk müziği büyük bir gelişme göstermiştir. Bu gelişmelerin en önemli tanıkları ise mısraların kaydedildiği, yazıldığı güfte mecmualarıdır. Dönemin güfte mecmualarından biri olan ve en önemlisi de bir hekimbaşı tarafından yazılmış olan Mecmûa-yı Letâif fî Sandukati’l-me’ârif isimli eserde yer alan Türk mûsikîsinin makamları ve insan fizyolojisi üzerinde bıraktığı tesirlerinin ifade ediliyor olması müziğin insan sağlığında ne denli vazgeçilmez olduğunun bir kanıtı olarak durmaktadır. Ayrıca, bir doktorun devrin müziği ile de ilgilenmiş olması Osmanlı Devleti’nde ilim ve sanatın bir arada yürütülebildiğinin güzel bir örneği olarak geleceğe ışık tutmaktadır. Anahtar sözcükler: Müzik, makam, güfte, tıp.   ABSTRACT In the eighteenth-century Ottoman State, Turkish music demonstrated a significant development. Among the most important evidence of these developments is the song journals in which verses were recorded. One of the song journals of the period, and among the most important, is the Mecmûa-yı Letâif fî Sandukati’l-me’ârif , written by the sultan’s chief physician. Its impact on makams of Turkish music and human physiology is expressed and it stands as a testament as to how integral music is to human health. Furthermore, a doctor Show inginterest in the period’s music is a great example of how much science and art were held in common in the Ottoman Empire, shedding a light on the future.
