Kedilerde feline coronavirus (FCoV) enfeksiyonunun kalsiyum metabolizması üzerindeki etkisinin araştırılması

Abstract :ÖZ Çalışmada feline coronavirus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FCoV); ile enfekte kedilerde enfeksiyonun kan kalsiyum seviyesi ve Ca metabolizmasını düzenleyen parametreler üzerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada FİP pozitif, feline immunodeficiency virüs insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FIV); ve feline leucoma virüs insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FeLV); negatif kuru insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=10); ve yaş form insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=10); krıterlerini taşıyan 20 adet FİP li kedi kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca 10 adet FİP, FIV, FeLV negatif sağlıklı kedi çalışmaya kontrol grubu olarak dahil edilmiştir. Tüm kedilerin serum örnekleri toplanarak bu örneklerde kedi spesifik ELISA test kitleri kullanılarak paratiroid hormon insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PTH);, paratiroid hormon benzeri protein insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PTHrP);, kalsitonin ve vitamin D3 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Vit D3); düzeyleri belirlendi. Ayrıca tüm serum örneklerinde otomatik biyokimya cihazı kullanılarak kalsiyum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Ca);, magnezyum insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Mg); ve Fosfor insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P); ölçümleri yapıldı. Yapılan analizler sonucunda FİP’li kedilerin PTH insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,01);, PTHrP insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,001); ve P insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,01); düzeyleri kontrol grubu kedilerin değerlerine göre önemli düzeyde yüksek olduğu belirlendi. Bununla birlikte FİP’li kedilerin kalsitonin ve vitamin D3, Ca seviyeleri kontrol grubuna göre yüksek olmakla birlikte iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak herhangi bir farkın olmadığı anlaşıldı. ABSTRACT The aims of the study were to determine the effects of feline coronavirus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FCoV); infection on blood Ca levels and Ca metabolism regulatory parameters in cats. In the study, twenty cats with clinical symthoms of feline infectious peritonitis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FIP); and positive to FCoV were used. They were negative to feline immunodeficiency virus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FIV); and feline leucoma virus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FeLV);. These cats were divided into two groups equally as dry insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=10); and wet form insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=10); of FIP. Ten cats clinically healthy and negative for all test were also used as control group. Serum samples were collected from all the cats and they were used to analyse parathyroid hormone insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PTH);, parathyroid hormone-realted protein insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PTHrP);, calcitonin and vitamin D3 insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Vit D3);, using feline specific ELISA test kits. Furthermore, Calcium insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Ca);, magnesium, insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Mg); and phosphorus insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(P); levels were also measured in these serum samples. In the sudy, PTH insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,01);, PTHrP insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,001); and P insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(p<0,01); levels were significantly higher in cats with FIP than those of control group. Additionally, calcitonin, vitamin D3 and Ca levels were found to be high in cats with FIP compared to those of control cats, but there were no statistically significance between these groups.
