Abstract :Since 1923, the foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey has generally been shaped by the understanding of preserving the status quo. Although there have been small-scale problems with neighboring countries and other states, the issues have been tried to be resolved through diplomatic means. In the study, Turkey\\\'s energy foreign policy after 2000 was examined within the framework of neoclassical realist theory. The main research question of the study was determined as \\\"What is the role of the international system pressure and internal dynamics emphasized by neoclassical realist theory in the formation of Turkey\\\'s energy policy?\\\" In the analysis process, the content analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used and the obtained data was evaluated with this method. As a result of the study, it was determined that the structure of the international system and its pressure on Türkiye are the prominent independent variables in the determination of energy foreign policy. Keywords : Enerji politikası, İçerik analizi, Neoklasik realizm, Türk enerji politikası
