Abstract :The present study aimed to evaluate the relationship between corrected QT (QTc) interval and demographic, clinical, and laboratory variables in patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis due to end-stage renal disease, and to identify independent risk factors associated with QTc interval prolongation. This retrospective and cross-sectional study included 147 adult patients who had been receiving regular dialysis treatment for at least six months. Based on electrocardiographic findings, patients were categorized into two groups according to their QTc interval status; normal and prolonged. Variables such as age, presence of heart failure, ejection fraction, medication use, and laboratory parameters were compared between the groups. Patients with prolonged QTc intervals were older, had lower ejection fraction, and a higher prevalence of heart failure. Beta-blocker use was also more frequent in this group. In multivariate logistic regression analysis, only advanced age was found to be independently associated with QTc interval prolongation. No significant association was observed between QTc interval and electrolyte levels, triglyceride-glucose index, or dialysis modality. These findings suggest that QTc interval prolongation in dialysis patients is primarily related to age and structural cardiac abnormalities, and may serve as a valuable parameter in the assessment of cardiac risk in this population. Keywords : Düzeltilmiş QT Aralığı, Son Dönem Böbrek Yetmezliği, Hemodiyaliz, Periton Diyalizi
