Abstract :Bu makalede, özgün bir İslam felsefe geleneğinin oluşumunda öncü role sahip bir Müslüman Arap filozofu olan El-Kindi’nin felsefi görüşleri incelenmiştir. Meşşai felsefe geleneğinin öncüsü olan ve Abbasi hilafetindeki üç halife döneminde insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Me’mun, Mu’tasım ve Vasık); gelişim gösteren Mu’tezile akımı ile paralellik arz eden görüşlere sahip olan El-Kindi’nin, bilgi, varlık, akıl, ahlak, siyaset ve kişisel erdem ile toplumsal erdemi birleştiren akıl ve mutluluk ilişkisine dair görüşleri analiz edilmiştir.
