Financial Risk Tolerance and Burnout Relation: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector Study

Abstract :This study examines the relationship between financial risk tolerance and burnout with its subscales emotional exhaustion insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EE);, depersonalization insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(DEP);, and personal accomplishmentinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(PA); on the information and communication technology insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ICT); sector employees. In this study, Grable and Lytton Financial Risk Tolerance and Maslach Burnout Inventory insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(MBI); Scales are used. In additionto this relationship investigation, how financial risk tolerance attitudes change with demographic characteristicsis also analyzed in this field study. The result of this study shows that there is relation betweenfinancial risk tolerance and burnout with its emotional exhaustion insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(EE); subscale. Moreoverto this, it is also attained that financial risk tolerance increases with the education level and income. In addition to this, depersonalization is greater in single than inmarried, in other words singles are more prone to depersonalization than married.
