Abstract :Articles 23-25 of the Turkish Civil Code regulate the legal rules that protect personality. The protection of personality refers to the protection of the physical and moral integrity of a person both internally and externally. Internal protection can be described as protecting oneself, while external protection refers to protection against illegal attacks by third parties. For the external protection of personality, a judge can be asked to prevent an attack, stop an attack, and/or determine the effects of an attack. Compensation lawsuits can also be filed for the material and non-material compensation of a person who has been subject to an illegal attack.
