Abstract :The aim of this study is a qualitative research to discuss the current communication technologies and what kind of cases these technologies in the digital environment will lead to in children when combined with artificial intelligence applications. Our study discusses today\\\'s communication tools. Communication is the most important means of understanding between people. Individuals understand and make sense of each other through communication. Today, communication takes place through social media tools and digital platforms. Children growing up in such an environment face many situations. The advancement of digital technology and the increase in the functionality of artificial intelligence applications today have led to the proliferation of new communication technologies. Artificial intelligence has caused the child to face certain risks and benefits in digital environments as in every field. The child living in such a complex age is inadequate in certain situations. Therefore, artificial intelligence literacy becomes important. Artificial intelligence literacy has always been an important issue in today\\\'s social structure. Families and educators have great responsibilities in terms of the importance of artificial intelligence literacy for children growing up in the digital environment. These two important institutions, family and education, act together and have an important position in the development of children, and in short, these two institutions contribute to the social and cognitive development of the child in the age of artificial intelligence.
