Abstract :Garplılaşma, yani Batılılaşma konusu, tarihten sosyolojiye, felsefeden edebiyata, mimariden müziğe birçok alanda geniş bir literatüre sahip görünmektedir. Bunun fark edebildiğimiz en belirgin sebebi, “Batılılaşma” denen sürecin/hareketin, bizim için geçmişten bu yana bir medeniyet sancısına işaret etmesidir.
