Abstract :Bu çalışmada tasavvuf ve tarikatlar târihi-düşüncesi açısından önemli ayrışmalardan birini ifade eden zâhid ve ârif tipinin Mevlânâ’da nasıl bir görünüme sahip olduğunun tespitine çalışılmıştır. Mevlânâ’nın zâhid ve ârif hakkındaki değerlendirmelerine etki eden temel düşüncelerinin neler olduğu, bu iki tipe dair ne tür nitelemelerde bulunduğu ve onları hangi yönleri itibariyle birbirinden ayırdığı gibi belli başlı noktalara odaklanılmıştır. Böylece onun hem tasavvuf hem de edebiyat tarihindeki müşterek bir temaya dair ne tür katkılar sunduğunun üzerinde durulmuştur.
