Abstract :This paper investigates the characterizations of null osculating curves of type (n-3) in Lorentzian n-space . The necessary and sufficient conditions for a null curve to be null osculating curve of type (n-3) in E_1^n are examined. The characterizations of these curves are obtained in terms of their curvature functions, and the relations between the curvatures required for a null curve to be a null osculating curve of type (n-3) are determined. Moreover, alternative formulations for null osculating curves of type (n-3) using harmonic curvature functions in terms of B_n-2 are presented.
