Abstract :The migration for education is one of significant migration Turkey has faced with the expansion of universities. Thus, the stundent’s established relations with the urban life and the forms of socialization is seen as very important reality during the university education. In this process, being far away from families, entered into new social environment, expectations for the university education, adoptation to the city are among the decisive factors. With the regard to this context, This study argues that the newly established universities are as “the new migration places”. The main purpose of study draws attention to students’ adoptation problems to the the city with the insfucient infrastructure. Thereby, Ordu University has taken the case study of the research
