Abstract :Symbolic elements play an important role while expounding a literary text. The author builds some semantic stratums and transmits various messages implicitly through the symbolic elements. Many times, the symbolic language used in the text is possible to see the author`s mental projections. In this article, the symbolic elements which can be observed in Lafcadio Hearn’s `Snow Woman insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Yuki-Onna);` will be handled and analyzed
