Abstract :Learning style helps learner to learn the new knowledge fast and at a good level, to express him/herself better to people around and to understand surroundings better. Knowing the learning style is a strong and effective way which facilitates learning process. This study has been conducted to determine the learning styles of university students. The number of the university students studying at these departments is 1162 for the 2010-2011 spring education years. The research hasn’t been restricted to a certain sample. We have expected to reach the whole population. However, only 607 students have attended the research. The research data have been collected through the Inventory of Learning Styles B G 16 which was developed by Nurettin im ek and tested for its validity and reliability. These data have been analyzed by means of SPSS 15.0 Packet Program. The results of the research have shown that the students hold mostly visual learning style
