Abstract :In this study, it was aimed to verify the validity and reliability of the Employee Advocacy Role Perception Scale and adapt it to Turkish culture. Depending on this purpose, the data obtained from 338 participants was divided into two, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was applied to the first half, and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied to the other half. Analyzes were carried out through SPSS and AMOS programs. It was also found that the unidimensional scale explained 64.779% of the total variance. According to the findings obtained after the analysis, it was observed the KMO (.947) value, and the Bartlett test statistical value of the relevant scale are significant (x2(3287.423; p=.<0.001), the scale has a single-factor structure, and the item loads are varied between .628 and 873. According to confirmatory factor analysis fit indices, the acceptable fit of Chi-square (2.62) and RMSEA value (.072); It was determined that GFI (.955), AGFI (.920) and CFI value (.980) showed good fit. The goodness of fit indices of the single-factor structure that emerged after the analysis revealed a good and acceptable fit. According to the findings of the analysis conducted to determine the internal consistency of the scale, the Cronbach Alpha value of the relevant scale was .933; AVE value is .647; The CR value is .959, the correlation level between the two halves is 848; The first half test reliability value was .927; The second half test showed that the reliability value was .918. When EFA and CFA results are evaluated together, it is seen that the unidimensional structure of the Employee Advocacy Role Perception Scale, consisting of 9 items, is valid and its reliability level is high. As a result, the compatibility of the relevant scale with the Turkish cultural structure has been determined, and it is predicted that it will produce valid and reliable results in measurements regarding the employee advocacy role perception of human resources.
