Abstract :Bu çalışmada, kalite geliştirme çalışmalarının bazı temel kavramları araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, bu konuda faydalı çalışmalar yapmış olan Genichi Taguchi felsefesinin, Deming`in yönetim prensiplerine ve batı endüstrisinde yaygın olan bazı felsefe ve metodolojilere uyumu incelenmiştir.
