Abstract :This study aimed to investigate pre-service teachers\\\' awareness of online privacy in relation to various demographic and experiential variables. The study used the survey model, a quantitative research method. The study sample consisted of 218 pre-service teachers studying in seven different undergraduate programs in the Faculty of Education of a state university. Data were collected online via a form comprising three sections. In addition to descriptive statistical analysis, independent samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation tests were conducted. According to the study results, no significant relationship was found between online privacy awareness and gender. Enrolling in a media literacy course positively affected online privacy awareness. Participants who neither encountered online privacy risks nor violated others’ privacy reported higher levels of awareness. Participants’ Internet usage time did not significantly affect their online privacy awareness. Moreover, the study identified a significant and positive relationship between online privacy awareness and cybersecurity perception. Future studies may investigate how preservice teachers’ online privacy and cybersecurity awareness relate to their school experience and teaching practice performance. Keywords : Çevrim İçi Mahremiyet, Farkındalık, Siber Güvenlik, Öğretmen Adayı
