Abstract :Within the scope of this study, the concept of divorce anxiety, which has not been mentioned much in the literature before, was explained and the Divorce Anxiety Scale developed to help reveal this construct, was subjected to validity and reliability analyses. The concept of divorce anxiety can be defined as the anxiety that individuals feel about the changes and uncertainties that may occur at the end of their marital relationship. Two different study groups were reached within the scope of the research. The first study group consisted of 430 individuals and structural validity studies were conducted with the data obtained. The findings revealed a three-factor structure that accounted for 70% of the explained variance. For the validity and reliability studies of the emerging structure, data were collected from the second study group consisting of 390 individuals. The findings of the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) revealed that the model related to the construct showed good and excellent fit (qs/df=3.25; GFI=0.88; AGFI=0.84; NNFI=0.96; NFI=0.96; CFI=0.97; RMSEA=0.07). In addition to the CFA findings, convergent and divergent validity calculations related to the scale were also conducted. The findings demonstrated that the scale meets both convergent and divergent validity conditions, confirming that it is a statistically valid and reliable measurement tool. Keywords : Boşanma, Boşanma Kaygısı, Evlilik, Ölçek Geliştirme
