Abstract :The purpose of this research is to explain the interview technique, which is mostly preferred as a data collection tool in qualitative research methods. In this compilation research, the definition, purpose, importance of the interview technique, planning of the interview technique, the strengths and weaknesses of the interview technique, the ethical dimension of the interview technique, the types of the interview technique, the analysis of the interview data, the validity and reliability of the interview technique, and a general evaluation of the sources related to the interview technique. has been made. For the interview process to be carried out successfully, it is aimed to give information about the use of the interview technique by considering these factors.
