Abstract :Generally it is accepted that the II World War is the beginning of the globalisation movements. In this paper, it is argued that globalisation movement should be examined in such a time horizon covering the East-West trade during the emperior era. The purpose of this study is to examine the historical development of globalisation as well as to form a better foundation for evaluating globalisation in terms of fiscal developments.
