Abstract :The sharia-based economy has been growing rapidly recently not only in the financial, culinary and fashion sectors, but also in the halal tourism sector. The rate of Muslim and non-Muslim travelers preferring halal tourism is rapidly increasing. According to the Global Muslim Travel Index, interest in halal tourism is expected to increase by 15% in 2024. This is an important development in terms of the potential to revitalize the Turkish economy, especially in the tourism sector, and this potential market needs to be met with optimal services. This study will collect data from the Turkish Thesis Center (Yöktez) and the Turkish Journal Web Center (Dergipark). When the theses and journals are examined, the data included in the sample and thought to make meaningful contributions to the field will be evaluated. The evaluation criteria include level of education, year of writing, language of writing, university, institution, department, subject title, sample type, sample size, data collection tools, validity and reliability status, hypothesis status and research methods. This research can provide a broader picture of which areas can be explored for further research by subsequent researchers. This research also includes sections on scientific study areas that can be developed to improve the quality of halal tourism.
