Abstract :eğitimden, okuma—yazma hesap öğretimi yb. temel bilgilerin kazandırılmasının anlaşıldığını belirtmektedir. .Bugün ise toplumsal kökenine bakılmaksızım her çocuğa geniş kapsamlı bir genel eğitim kazandırılması hedeflennıektedir. ikinci Dünya Savaşı’ndan sonra ülkeler okul sistemlerinin yeni koşullara yanıt verememesi, arz ve talebi karşılayamaması gibi nedenlerle eğitim reformu hareketine girişnıişlerdir.
