Abstract :In every field of Islamic sciences, it is possible to find important personalities and texts that influenced the historical evolution and unfolding of this field. As far as the science of hadith methodology is concerned, a famous text called Ulūm al-hadith by Ibn al-Salah insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(643/1245);, a cornerstone in the hadith science, is essential, for it shaped many subsequent usūl texts. Ulūm al-hadith that’s why, received important attention by subsequent scholars and was the main textbook of usul al-hadith for a long time. In this article, adventure of this classical book in hadith methodology is summarized in the historical perspective.
