Günümüzde halen, plevral effüzyonlarm etyolojik tanılarında önemli problemler vardır. Plevral effüzyonlara sistematik yaklaşım hem tanıya gitmede hem de tedaviyi değerlendirmede katkı sağlayacaktır. Buradan hareketle derlememizde plevral effiizyonlann tanısına yönelik son bilgileri literatürler ışığında aktarmayı uygun bulduk. Anahtar kelimeler: Plevral effüzyon, plevral hastalık Abstract: DİAGNOSTİC APPROACH TO PLEURAL EFFUSİONS Pleural effusion is the most commpn sign ofpleural diseases. Currently, there are many diagnostic problems in diagnosis ofthe etiology ofpleural effusions. A systematic approach to pleural effusions will generally result in a specific diagnosis and help to guide therapy. The purpose of this article is to summarize recent informations on the approach to diagnosis ofpleural effusions. Key words: Pleural efausion, pleural disease
