Abstract :Coins are primary source materials for historical research, serving as crucial documents that indicate the duration of a ruler\\\'s reign, the economic power of the state, the political and administrative structure of the period, its religious and cultural understanding, artistic direction, and geographical borders. They are also among the most tangible proofs that reveal the identity of a state or civilization. The tradition of having coins minted and the khutbah (sermon) read in the name of a new ruler, as one of the fundamental symbols of sovereignty, has been an indispensable element of the Islamic political tradition. The Sultans of the Seljuk State of Rûm also adhered to this custom, minting coins in their names upon ascending the throne. The coins struck in the name of the Seljuk State of Rûm are not merely a medium of exchange but also an indicator of political and economic power, state authority, and cultural identity. Therefore, the examination of these coins and their inclusion in the literature will make a significant contribution to numismatics as well as to fields like history, art history, and economic history. In this study, 10 of the 84 coins belonging to Ghiyath al-Din Kaykhusraw III preserved in the Konya Ethnography Museum collection have been identified and analyzed. Keywords : III.
