PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT OF LNA USING SERIES FEEDBACK

Abstract :In this paper, a small-signal microwave transistor with the series inductive feedback application subject to the required noise figure insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Freq); and output mismatching insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(VSWRout); is analyzed at the chosen bias condition insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(VDS, IDS);. Performance measure functions like Noise Measure insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(M);, Mismatch Loss insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ML);, and Figure of Merit insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(FOM); are used to choose the beneficial feedback value for the design of Low Noise Amplifier insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(LNA);. Once the optimum feedback value is selected, then the LNA application of a series inductive feedback applied transistor subject to the required noise figure and output mismatching is simulated with the input and the output matching circuit at the chosen frequency.
