Abstract :Bu çal ışmada beş farkl ı nohut çeşidinin s ı kıştı rma yükü alt ı ndaki mekanik davran ışı belirlenmiştir. Deneyler dört değ işik nem seviyesi, üç farkl ı deformasyon h ı z ı ve iki farkl ı yükleme ekseninde yap ı lm ışt ı r. Deney sonuçlar ı nem içeriğ indeki art ışı n kı rı lma kuvvetini azalt ı rken deformasyon enerjisini art ı rd ığı n ı göstermiştir. Bunun yan ı nda, deformasyon h ı z ı artt ı kça kı r ı lma kuvveti artmakta; deformasyon enerjisi ise azalmaktad ı r.
