Abstract :Kitap ne tam bir bilimsel temele ne de tam bir magazinsel içeriğe sahiptir. Bu da ondan faydalanmak isteyecek okuyucu yelpazesinin hayli geniş olduğu manasındadır. Kitap hem akademik çalışmalarda atıf yapılabilecek derecede objektif, hem de meraklı okurlar için ilgi çekebilecek eğlenceli bir Adam Smith anlatısıdır. Bu yönleriyle kitap yazılmış olma amacını fazlasıyla karşılamış, alanındaki diğer öncül eserlerden farkını ortaya koymakta son derece başarılı olmuştur.
