Abstract :This study analyses regional differences in women\\\'s employment in Turkey from a human resource management perspective. The main objective of the study is to reveal the impact of economic, social and cultural factors by evaluating the regional distribution of indicators such as female labour force participation rates, employment and unemployment. Using descriptive statistical methods for 26 NUTS-2 regions in the period 2009-2023, the study analysed the changes in female labour force indicators in detail. Furthermore, using TOPSIS, a multi-criteria decision-making technique, the female employment performance of each region is ranked in terms of proximity to the ideal position. The findings show that high labour force participation rates in metropolitan areas are associated with rising unemployment, while in rural areas, education level plays a decisive role in women\\\'s employability. The study finds that the economic sector structure and the level of regional development determine the differences in women\\\'s employment and strategically recommends that vocational training programmes should be tailored to regional needs, flexible working models should be expanded, financial incentives and institutional diversity policies should be implemented. In addition, the study makes a unique contribution to the literature by providing applicable policy recommendations to eliminate regional disparities in the light of the findings obtained.
