Abstract :Bu çalışmada; 1995 yılt Ocak-Mart aylan arasında, Van ve yöresindeki değişik yerleşim birimlerinde yavru atımı bildirilen 11 değişik koyun sürüsüne ait atık fötuslar brusellozis yönünden incelendi. Bakteriyolojik incelemelerde, 11 sürüden 5’ine insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(°/o 45,5); ait atık fötüslarm mide içeriği, dalak ve karaciğerinden Brucella melitensis izole ve identifiye edildi. Yavru atan 11 sürünün 7’sinden alınan toplam 76 kan serumu Rose Bengal Plate Test insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(RBPT); ile serolojik olarak incelendi. İncelenen 76 kan serumunun 30’u insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(%39,47); Brusellozis yönünden sero-pozitif bulundu. Br. melitensis izole edilen 5 sürüye ait kan serumlarında sero-pozitif serum oranı %2O-°/o8O arasında değişirken, Brucella cinsine bağlı bakteri izole edilemeyen 2 sürüye ait koyun kan serumları sero-negatif bulundu.
