Abstract :1813 yılında Kütahya`da dünyaya gelen Ali Dede Pesendî , tam yüz yıl yaşayarak 1913 yılında Kütahya`da vefat etti. Müderris Doğlarlı Osman Efendi Medresesinde öğrenim gördü. Arifi tarafından kendisine, Farsça beğenilmiş, seçilmiş anlamına gelen Pesendî mahlası verildi. Bu makalede, Pesendî`nin bazı şiirleri, dinî ve tasavvufî açıdan değerlendirilmiştir
