Abstract :Enterobius vermicularis intestinal sistemimizde etkili bir nematoddur. Parazitle bulaş enfekte olan insanlarla direkt temasla olur. Erişkinlerde genelde asemptomatik seyreder. Ektopik yerleşimli enfeksiyonlar genelde kadınlarda ve genital traktta gözlenir. Bu olgu sunumunda sık idrara çıkma, üretral kaşıntı şikayeti olan bir erkek hastada ampirik tedavilere dirençli üretrit vakası irdelenmiştir. Hastanın aile anamnezinde çocuğunda anal bölgede kaşıntı şikayeti vardı. Çocuğa yapılan selofan bant testiyle elde edilen örneklerin mikroskopla incelenmesi sonucunda E. vermicularis yumurtalarına rastlandı. Nadir olarak da olsa E. vermicularis erkek genitoüriner traktında görülebilmektedir.
